Hormone Therapy for Men and Woman

Hormones play a huge role in everyone’s health. Men and women, young or old, it is hormones that keep our bodies functioning properly and keep us feeling healthy and happy. When a persons hormones are not regulated, they can feel loss of desire, depression, anxiety, irritability and sleepiness. Hormones affect not only how the body functions but also how a person feels emotionally and sexually. "A woman who came to our center to find out how to improve her sex drive and increase the intimacy in her marriage. She was in her early 50's married for 24 years and felt like she was lacking desire. We tested her hormones and found that her estrogen levels were low as well as her testosterone.

We tested her hormones and found that her estrogen levels were low as well as her testosterone. We treated both, but her initial problem with her husband still remained. Now that she had her libido back she still was not enjoying sex with her husband. We asked both of them to come in for sexuality counseling and helped her and her husband explore other ways to enjoy sex with each other. They Worked on more communication surrounding sex and were given fun home assignments to do including new techniques, foreplay, and exploring each others bodies in a new way. After a few sessions they felt a renewed intimacy with each other as well as a new beginning in their marriage."
